We can all see the lights, experience the vibration, the noises and smells.
We feel the soul of a city in a completely unconscious manner. We close our eyes and sense the energy that it radiates.
An artist is able to capture these sensations, condensing their own intimate interpretation of reality into a format that’s frozen in time.
Through the years Wayne has been exploring and chasing the moment, waiting for the cities to speak to him, reading their souls through their colors, lights and movement.

A city glows, shines, breathes- a city moves and changes.

WAYNE CHASAN
Born in the USA in 1963, Wayne relocated to Marbella in 1982, where he lives and works as a professional photographer. His personal passion is capturing the “soul” of Andalucía in images; whether its people and culture in rural settings, or its landscapes and villages steeped in history.
In that time he has produced more than two thousand advertising campaigns and editorial features for clients and magazines around the world such as Elle Decor, Conde Nast, Time Magazine, Warner Bros, Canon, British Airways and El Corte Ingles.
It is Wayne’s innate ability to capture and create mood combined with his masterful use of the photographer’s palette of light, form, texture, and composition that make his images so powerful. His luminous touch enhances the beauty of a location or a moment.

He has received awards such as the Spanish Photographer’s Association “Lux Oro” for the launch of the Oleicola Hojiblanca brand, from the City of Marbella Communication Media for his accomplished career, and from the Junta de Andalucia for the Promotion of Businesses in Andalucia.

He was one of seven photographers selected to create the campaign for the 50th anniversary of Canon Europe, and his images for them were chosen by the American Society of Media Photographers for their “Best of 2007”.

His personal work has been exhibited in multiple solo and collective exhibitions in galleries and museums, both in the USA and Spain.
With his inspired vision, Wayne infuses magic and emotion in to the imagery he creates.

ANGÉLICA ARBULU
Mexican born Spaniard, Angélica has lived in all four continents and considers herself a cultural mutt. Her focus is on capturing the essence of the mundane. Making the ordinary seem unique.
Her work; first with UNICEF and now as an freelance aid consultant; has taken her around the globe where she has been able to explore different realities and living conditions.

“This is Angelica’s strength, capturing people and places and making the everyday look beautiful and exotic.” (Emma Fordham, artist) She views the photograph as only the first step in the process, "sculpting" the image through the editing process to enhance its essence.

Angélica begun studying photography in 1990 in Madrid. She is mostly self taught but has undertaken studies with Chien-Chi Chang (Magnum), Ron Haviv (VII) and Tito Herrera (STUDIO at Getty Images). She was lucky to receive mentoring from the late Tim Hetherington (Magnum).
