Her choice of subject matter is informed by her experiences as a woman and perennial migrant. The artist uses mixed media to delve into the underlying themes of photography. She is inspired by indigenous rituals and the use of crafts assigned to women as tools of expression. The different materials help to reflect her relationship with her subjects and her desire to accompany them as well as tell their stories.8de 11
