All decisions are made jointly by the community. An assembly has been convened to make a series of decisions, including deciding whether to allow me to take pictures. The other has to do with the work of the UN to abolish FGM(or female genital mutilation). Women empowered and diempowered at the same time.
Colombia is the only country in the American continent where this practice has been registered. Government and indigenous authorities opt for a cultural transformation that will take decades.Exhibitions
