Luxury is visible and accessible for the majority, but there is a minority of immigrants who work and live in ignominious conditions. Everything that is private is highly manicured and in the hands of the native-born. The public, on the other hand, is in a notorious state of neglect. The natives show an almost unhealthy tendency to show off their purchasing power and flaunt their economic might, which often turns into competition. This is Kuwait .
