The thunderbolt has a 90-degree vertical drop and four inversions It takes 38 seconds from beginning to end with a height of 115 feet (35m), and a top speed of 56 miles per hour (90 km/h).
On our first visit it seemed unsurmountable. An imposible future. You watched as your sister rode in, awe and feeling small. An imposible future for you. Two years later you nearly turned back in the last minute, and I feared maybe I should have held you back. Your crossed at high speed beyond your horizon….
