Images composed from some three or four hundred individual photographs. Starting from Madrid, the artist's hometown, but with the addition of shots taken in other Spanish and foreign cities. These hundreds of photographs have a documentary value of the highest order and represent an exercise in historical memory of different cities and geographical and cultural contexts. In most cases, they represent small, traditional, local establishments that are on the verge of disappearing in the face of the irruption of large shopping centres as a result of globalisation. There is a reflection on time and on the loss of cultural and historical identity that its course (that of time) entails.
