Rosa Muñoz Spanish, b. 1963
Framed: 144 x 132 cm
Muñoz's work has something of archaeology and reconstruction of our modernity, also of debt, of mourning for our visual culture, or else, of salvation and reuse of that which was considered waste, dispensable, but which, nevertheless, for her is revealing and a key piece for (re)establishing her relationship with the past. She creates and destroys myths, because we live on myths. And as we know, the myth that photography builds can be the most seductive of all.
